Finally Friday! Carrot Cake

Friday!  Friday!  Friday!

Carrot Cake
Fill a mixing glass with ice.
1 oz Irish Cream
1 oz Coffee Liqueur
1 oz Butterscotch Schnapps
1/2 oz Cinnamon Schnapps
Shake.  Strain into chilled glass.  (I left the ice in.)

This tastes a lot like carrot cake!  It’s really sweet.  Must be carrot cake PLUS the cream cheese icing.  lol

Finally Friday! Peppermint Kiss

 When it gets slightly chilly outside…I get cold!  (Luckily, it’s been warming up a little over the last 2 weeks.) 
There’s no better way to warm up than some hot chocolate…and a little alcohol.

Peppermint Kiss
2 oz Peppermint Schnapps

I CANNOT believe that my “baby” is going to be 6 tomorrow!  Where have the years gone?
People always ask me, “When are you going to have another one?”

A delicious recipe from The McDougall Quick and Easy Cookbook.

 Mexican Lasagne
1 small onion, chopped
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1/3 cup water
2 14.5 ounce cans Mexican-style stewed tomatoes
2 15-ounce cans pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 7 ounce can chopped green chilies
