When I was in Italy a few years ago, I tried an aperitif – Campari.
It was very strange tasting…and I liked it. My friends weren’t so fond of it, because of its bitter taste. I do not typically like sweets, leaning towards salty/sour tastes…so this was right up my alley.
I haven’t had it since our trip, but I was thinking about buying some…to see if it was just Venice that made it taste good…or if I actually like the stuff! 
Plus, their advertising posters are awesome!
