Vitamix – the BEST!

My sweet husband bought me a present last week.  A Vitamix blender!  (Our blender literally cried when I used it – it made a huge racket!)

Cure for Poison Ivy?

Remember when I got Poison Ivy really bad earlier this year…I got it again!
Actually, it is from the Carolina Jasmine that grows on our fence.  (It’s just easier to say “Poison Ivy” vs. “I have a Carolina Jasmine rash”!)

1 year anniversary

One year ago today I stopped eating meat and dairy…and I feel great!
I wouldn’t call myself a ’strict’ vegan, simply because  from time to time I might eat fried pickles (eggs in the dredging…and I might dip it in Chipotle Ranch dressing). 

There was also a time in the spring where I had to indulge in some crawfish.

Bathroom remodel – DONE!

Our bathroom remodel is finished…and it’s such an improvement!
We had everything ripped out and replaced it all!
 We now have a fantastic door-less walk-in shower, which I love.  I HATE cleaning shower doors.

Plates with faces?
This is such a cute project…although, I don’t know if I want to stare back at myself while I’m eating!   
Here’s a full tutorial.  GREAT idea!
 

I’d love to dress up the plates and see if it would inspire my picky eater.
