Thankful Thursday! No more shooting up!

I have been giving myself allergy shots for almost 3 years now.
I went to my allergist the other day for a routine maintenance visit. She asked me several questions, including if I’d seen any improvement in my allergies. I told her that I had not.

Finally Friday! Strongest Beer in the World!

Did you know that Samuel Adams has one of the strongest beers in the world? Me either!
It’s not their usual Boston Lager…it’s their Utopia beer. What? Utopia.

They last produced it in 2009…and it sold for $150 per bottle. That must be one heck of a beer!
Not exactly in our tailgating budget.

Tortured Tuesday! Japanese Food

Our neighborhood has started a small dinner club. About 8 couples meet once a month. We offered to host the first dinner…and went with Japanese food. (My husband is part Japanese, so we used all of his Mom’s recipes.)

Actually, it is from the Carolina Jasmine that grows on our fence. (It’s just easier to say “Poison Ivy” vs. “I have a Carolina Jasmine rash”!)
